The Double

The performance addressed the constructed nature of subjectivity and the blurred borders of the self and other beings. I explored subjectivity as a mutable creation where many people (dead and living), objects and  take part in it’s construction. I made gestures of doubling myself with voice recordings, pieces of clothing, chairs and a smart phone camera which eventually turned into a multitude.
